ACCESS Health Shortlisted for Global Development Network Award

The ACCESS Health Philippines office was one of three organizations shortlisted for the Japanese Award for Outstanding Research on Development 2019 by the Global Development Network. The main theme of the award is “Doing research in developing countries: the role of non-academic actors, new communication platforms and leadership in social sciences.” ACCESS Health Philippines researchers Danika Bardelosa and Emmanuel Yujuico were nominated for their research on Philippine’s use of evidence-based research to influence public health policy. Dr. Yujuico will travel to Bonn to present the research as part of the awards process. More about the award is here.
