The Philippines team launched a new Global Health Emerging Leaders program at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China in June. The program was inspired by a Global Health Course originally launched in 2015 by ACCESS Health Philippines Country Director, Don Prisno. In recognition of the critical need to develop a new generation of global health leaders, researchers, and critical thinkers, Dr. Prisno and ACCESS Health redesigned the program and relaunched it in Hangzhou with thirty participants from the Zhejiang School of Medicine. The next workshops will be held in Nigeria and Egypt in August 2019.
