ACCESS Health India participated in the launch of a new partnership led by USAID and the Government of Assam to strengthen the public financial management system under the National Health Mission. The effort is one of three priority areas in a new agreement between the United States development agency and the Government of Assam that was launched by the Minister of State of Assam on June 14. ACCESS Health will provide technical assistance on public financial management systems as part of the new partnership. Also in attendance for the launch was the Principal Secretary, Mission Director, and Executive Director of the National Health Mission and the Director of Health Services and Mission Director at USAID.
